About Agape African Senior Center

Agape African Senior Center is a community-based senior center serving elderly African refugees, at-risk seniors, and people with disabilities in Philadelphia. Founded in 2000 by Rev. Dr. John K. Jallah, the center provides comprehensive support services including ESL/adult literacy, job search preparation, citizenship assistance, health education, housing referrals, and peer support groups. The center specializes in helping seniors transition to life in urban America while combating social isolation through cultural programming, storytelling traditions, and spiritual enrichment activities.
