About Restart Inc
reStart Inc. is a Kansas City-based nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness by providing safe emergency shelter and long-term housing solutions with comprehensive wrap-around services. Founded in 1981, reStart serves as the only homeless shelter in downtown Kansas City serving children, families, singles, and veterans across the full housing continuum. With over 45 years of community service, reStart has become a regional leader in advocating for and modeling best practices in permanently ending homelessness.
