About McShin Foundation
The McShin Foundation is Virginia's leading non-profit Recovery Community Organization (RCO) dedicated to serving individuals and families struggling with substance use disorders since 2004. Operating a 365-day recovery community center with 13 recovery residences providing 150 beds, McShin offers comprehensive addiction treatment including a 28-day residential program, sober living communities, detoxification services, and peer-to-peer support—the only RCO in Virginia accredited by CAPRSS. Their holistic approach combines recovery services with education, training, and advocacy to combat stigma and support individuals and families in creating positive, sustainable recovery lifestyles.
