BARC Animal Shelter and Adoptions is the City of Houston's municipal animal shelter that cares for more than 22,000 animals annually, offering adoption services for dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. The facility provides comprehensive adoption support including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and city registration with every adoption. BARC is not an eldercare or senior care facility; it is an animal shelter and adoption center.
