Albuquerque Center for Hope and Recovery (ACHR) is the city's first peer-run drop-in center, offering peer support services to individuals living with mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges since 2001. Operating from a downtown location with both in-person and virtual options, ACHR creates a safe, welcoming environment where members benefit from daily groups and one-on-one peer support facilitated by trained Certified Peer Specialists. The organization's mission centers on fostering positive life growth through hope, humor, and personal responsibility.
