About CARES Center
CARES Center is Mississippi's only nonprofit psychiatric residential treatment facility serving children and youth ages 6-17 with severe emotional and behavioral challenges. Operating as a 24-hour, 60-bed intensive treatment program for over 30 years, the facility provides comprehensive services including individual and family therapy, medical care, and education support within a structured learning environment. The program focuses on helping youth develop skills to manage challenging behaviors while supporting families in successful transition back to home and community.
