About Avivo Village
Avivo Village is a groundbreaking indoor community of 100 secure, private tiny houses serving individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Minneapolis. Operating under a housing-first, harm-reduction model with 24/7 wraparound services including substance use treatment, mental health therapy, and case management, Avivo provides dignified shelter and pathways to permanent housing and wellness. Since opening in December 2020, the facility has served 831 individuals, housed 340 in permanent housing, and reversed 248 overdoses through its trauma-informed, culturally-responsive approach.
