About Coalition For the Homeless of Central Florida
Coalition For the Homeless of Central Florida is a low-barrier residential shelter dedicated to ending homelessness through a Housing First approach that rapidly returns individuals and families to safe, stable, permanent housing. The organization provides comprehensive emergency services including nutritious meals, shower facilities, laundry services, hygiene supplies, and clothing alongside diversion services designed to help homeless individuals find housing outside the shelter system. In 2024, the Coalition placed 2,823 guests in permanent housing and served nearly 230,000 nutritious meals to those in need throughout Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties.
